Studio Sessions

As much as I love shooting in natural light, there are things a studio can offer that are extremely beneficial in some cases. From a pure photography standpoint using studio lighting allows complete control over the direction, intensity and color of light. Since you're in a controlled environment there are no issues with the weather. It can be raining, snowing, windy or hot outside and it won't affect your images. You have the convenience of a restroom, a dedicated makeup station and a comfortable changing room. It eliminates distractions and gives you privacy.

If you feel like this is the best option for your session I've provided information below regarding studio sessions.

All of my studio work is conducted at Union 206 Studio in Alexandria. This is a phenomenal facility with three spacious studios, professional grade lighting equipment and numerous backgrounds. It's easy to access from 395 and 495. They even have various pieces of furniture that we can use during the shoot. You can see and read more about the studio by following this link: http://www.union206.com/

Due to the volume of work I do at this location the cost is only $45 per hour and a session typically takes 2 to 3 hours depending on the content we're trying to create. This cost is not included in the normal session fee.
